We developed a concept for the Kaira Looro Architecture Competition 2025, which invited architects and designers to create innovative solutions for a nursery school in rural Sub-Saharan Africa. The competition focused on addressing the urgent need for quality early education and child-friendly facilities in underserved communities, specifically targeting rural areas of southern Senegal.

The project encouraged designs that:

• Provide safe, inclusive, and stimulating environments for children.

• Integrate play, social interaction, and community engagement.

• Are feasible for self-construction using local materials and sustainable technologies.
