Community Impact and Highlights

Here is what we achieved together last month:

Volunteer Hours: 980

Planting area maintained: 4500m2

Plants Propagated: 600 seedlings

Volunteer group shout-out:

• We’d like to acknowledge the team from Borrmeister Architects and Wulf Borrmeister. The team have been swapping design for conservation twice a year since 2022 with CVNZ - Wulf says that it’s a really important part of team building as well as making a real contribution to conservation. Ka rawe!  

• A huge thank you to the Student Volunteer Army for their Big Give event, bringing over 300 students to mulch native plantings in the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor. Their support gave our maintenance efforts a real boost this month.
