Courtyard House

This modern family home is a rebuild of an award winning 1970s house following the 2011 Christchurch earthquakes. The main objectives were to reinterpret and modernise the design principals of the client’s former house. Taking ques from the original plans, the heart of the home is a private central courtyard which brings light and a shared visual connection between the spaces.
